5 Reasons You Should Be Talking about Hulu

I’d thought that television and film on the Internet was getting to be conscientious. Consider that joining a service like Hulu, which is inexpensive and is comprised of both original and established programming, is a step you can take to keep yourself involved in enjoying entertainment that is among what you can think of as the going thing. After Christmas shopping, dinners, decorations, and other necessary evils of this special time of year, you can easily find yourself bills paid, gifts purchased, letter to Santa safely penned… with little left in your pocket. That being said, with your Hulu subscription, some “you time” with the streaming video service could be what you need to keep the holiday cheer. So here you are with what I’m thinking you can say about Hulu.

It’s important to your friends that you’re having a good Christmas.

You know it was worth it. Everything you put into Christmas, the gearing up for the most expansive holiday of 2016, which is to say the scramble, the mad dash, will most definitely pay off when the calendar gets to 2-5. Until then, with the carols, the repeated last-minute visits to the mall (and to the liquor store), and tip-toeing through the nuisance moments every Christmas brings, it might be right to get cozy with Hulu, so that if anyone comes to you asking, “Where were you?”… you can answer in all honesty that you’ve found the best thing to watch in your downtime. This is a conscientious thing to do.

Moving off television (and Blu-Ray) to Hulu means you’ve found fun, quality programming, thrills and what whets your appetite for more distinctly different styles of pictures.

The channels on television are unwieldy compared to the organization you enjoy with Hulu. On Hulu, you have access to both quality video and a goodly number of movies you may simply not have heard of. If you are shy, you can probably pretend to be watching the best and the most acclaimed, when you are really indulging… whatever it is that leaves you feeling conscientious.

Making small talk about what’s best in original content on the Internet is more impressive if you have some familiarity with originals on Hulu.

Hulu doesn’t just present what’s already been seen. There is original programming exclusive to Hulu. Some of it is prestigious. While there is rampant competition in original TV series, Hulu is comparatively inexpensive, for the value it offers. Bear in mind, if you have been tinkering in the realm of the competitors to Hulu, when you are talking with Hulu subscribers, the best advice for you might be to politely acknowledge the subject and then to move to the next drink table.

As Santa gets ready to ride all around the world, you can join in the journey by picking from great videos. No one can accuse you of being a snob. You can sound like you’re an experienced viewer though you’ve never come close to Cannes.

You will be able to find your own peace and quiet in your own corner of the world watching video with Hulu. No matter what this year’s Christmas festivities bring, you have an instant reprieve that you need to get back to the show.

If you enjoyed what I have to say, let me know by “liking” this post. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you back!

Second Thoughts

Second thoughts for a blogger might include realizing that stock photos, while “free” in exchange for a membership in a stock photo site, could lead to stock photos in blog posts that represent a hurdle for the blogger who doesn’t have original photography.

Second thoughts for a social media marketer might include budget constraints on designing videos that have mass appeal, more than just straightforward infographics which, while somewhat charming in their relative capacity, are not nearly as captivating as excellent video in social media marketing.

Second thoughts might go with investing a significant amount of energy producing various six-second videos for the Twitter app Vine, which are no longer going up. The momentum became a trend.

Second thoughts might go with signing up for Twitter when this year it has made, I understand, nary a profit. If it does become a sinking ship, and I don’t think it will, it could definitely provoke second thoughts… but I think most people knew when to draw the line.

Second thoughts might go with blogging with WordPress if it turns out Wix is the more popular blogging platform of the two. I don’t think so! I want WordPress to vanquish. Second thoughts might go with choosing a losing theme for your WordPress blog… but if you need help with visual design for your blog, I think you will quickly come to terms with how to get it.

Second thoughts might go with your US Election Day voter booth selfie if you don’t know it is a criminal offense to take such a photo.

Second thoughts might result from your decision to blog instead of watching the news if you want to be an informed citizen.

Second thoughts might result from inadequate research if you are on top of what is simply too many topics at one time.

Second thoughts are not “liking” this post or clicking “follow,” or leaving a comment. I won’t have the pleasure of knowing! Thank you.

Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens is Exciting and Gripping

It was a good experience to sit down with Star Wars Episode VII for viewing and see what happened to Han Solo and Leia after all those years. On screen they delivered a good show, and it is a fun and lengthy saga revisited in Star Wars Episode VII.

DMGAAC2TGIThe film represents an astounding amount of excitement. Heralded as the new film in the series which helped make an absolute legion of fans when Star Wars Episode IV, V and VI captured the imagination in the late nineteen seventies and early nineteen eighties. The story of terrifying villains cementing an iron grip on political power across a faraway galaxy was hugely successful and now in the year 2015 Star Wars Episode VII has returned to take up the story which seemed to have ended in the year 1983. Evil hasn’t finished raising its head and, fortunately for the film audience, an assembly of the good and just will do battle with the enemy and therefore try to take back power in the galaxy.

Actor Adam Driver is Kylo Ren, who wants to destroy MIA Luke Skywalker so that the Jedi of light will never return to restore balance to the galaxy. He is fearsome and helps carry the torch, of evil, that is, because he is the chief baddie who helps lead the galactic power that controls the galaxy. He helms several important missions personally, which is important that he is that kind of leader who is responsible for putting the personal touch on many important missions. For example, personally pursuing BB-8 falls into the hands of Kylo Ren which is instrumental to gleaning nearly-lost information that BB-8, in the tradition of Star Wars Episode IV where R2-D2 carries information with the weakness of the Death Star. BB-8 is also important to helping his human allies get the necessary information to help them vanquish.

What’s so singular about this Star Wars film is that cast members from the original films are returning, with Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Leia, and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, along with others. It is excellent seeing how they fare in a sequel many years after the events depicted in the first three films of the seventies and eighties. It is nearly irresistible that these character reappear in film so many years after they resoundingly did the same in the original Star Wars saga.
