How are you feeling right now?

I feel apprehensive with all the anger expressed about me.

People are continually running up against me. It’s like they have disbelief about what the reality of their experience is.

It’s a mad reality but everybody is going armed with more power than put the United States on the moon. I guess that people don’t want to cause problems (to rock the boat) but there are a lot of avenues to take in 2023. If you are not into content creation, which is like copywriting and sales, you can do a few other things, but generally, you want to put money in your pocket.

Jobs are apparently disappearing all the time. By the thousands. Now a telemarketer, which is a job I’ve done (and so Adam Driver said to Stephen Colbert about a job he did) is easily replaced by AI.

It is crazy, but when the OpenAI boss was talking about jobs that will be important, obviously coding is hot once again, as now it is pretty easy to get started. It doesn’t cost a lot to start coding.

I am well-fucked in many areas, as everyone around me is apparently on the hunt for something that I am not aware of, but maybe people just have different pastimes they do that I don’t know much about. Many of the avenues for motivation that I am aware of, like this TikTok user called The Superior Male or something like that, or DenMo on YouTube, and many other motivational coaches recommend investing in yourself, so this morning I weighed how important AI is to me, as there are some people who think it’s potentially dangerous.

It is just that kind of “God mode” thinking that AI enthusiasts enjoy that is super hard to resist. It’s strategic in so many areas where there’s a call for tech wizardry and it’s got kind of a self-actualization to it, which is a complicated and ambiguous idea, that I think it’s very good fortune to have latched onto. Like reading The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in the sixth grade and meeting Marvin the Paranoid Android, it’s a pretty mod experience.
